Not that anyone will read this but if you do and you are the praying type then shoot a few our way b/c things are really rough right now. Business isn't going as well as it needs to be for me to even eat much less make a living, things keep falling apart one thing at a time until there seems to be no end in sight and then to top it all off the love of my life is in one of the most stressful situations that you can imagine and it is threatening her health and our only real income. If the situation gets worse we might have to leave town and so I ask for your prayers and that God will speed up this situation b/c if we are to follow his path then we at least need to know which way that is.

We own the night:
good movie. On par with "the defarted" as i like to call it. But hey... guess what? this one didn't get nominated for the best picture... wonder why? oh yea b/c it's not a best picture movie just like the Departed wasn't EITHER! Anyway, i just had to get another shot in at the departed while I was at it, but i digress. Good movie. Good plot good action, better movie than I was expecting. I really didn't want to see this one but hey, I did and I had an open mind and what do you know?

Best pic nominee. Another good flick. Decent twists and turns with a great "speech" by G Cloon at the end. I enjoyed this one as well and so far, out of the best picture nominees this year, i've been impressed.

Malibu spring break:
Ok, so i watched this one online just b/c i knew it would have boobs in it and there's movies with boobs that are D+ material and then there are movies with BOOBS at and A+ level... and unfortunately for me this one had a lot of boobs but none of a high enough quality to keep me interested. I think I made it to the 3rd boob scene before I was bored and turned it off. Not even worth rating on the spank-o-meter hehe

Not a fan of musicals... and I'm still not. But this one was very watchable. Once anyway. I probably won't be buying the DVD and def I haven't downloaded it to the ipod or anything but it was a good flick. I really liked the special effects and the filters they put on the video, it made it very interesting to watch and the gore wasn't over done thanks to the cartoonish color of red.

Death at a funeral:
Ehh... not really funny at all and it really turned me off when they had some rank/foul toilet humor. I'm a fan of some toilet humor and some is funny and some crosses the line and this was def an occasion of crossing the line by a lot. I'm glad I wasn't eating b/c I might not have been able to keep it down. Very graphic and disturbing. It stinks that all I can remember about this movie was the one scene that ruined it for me.

Lord of the rings: the 2 towers:
From the personal collection. Great set of movies. My personal fav of hte trilogy and my vote for the only one of the 3 movies that should have been nominated for best picture (the 3rd won).

Dan in real life:
Good movie. I heard mixed reviews about it so i didn't care much to see it but after watching I would have to say it was very good and very underrated. Steve C is great and did a FANTASTIC job with his character and the believability of it. I thought they did a great job setting up the movie and resolved it about the only way to please everyone.

Same as always, but i'm getting sick of the show after all the ones I've watched so I moved the next eps down the list so this might be the last review for a while haha

I thought this was gonna be a movie about "going green" or at least something to do with it... in fact it didn't have ANYTHING to do with recycling or hippies or any of that stuff. I'm still confused. Ok, not really but it threw me off and I'm pretty upset about this b/c we need to know more about what to do about global warming! ok i threw that in there for no good reason .... i'll quit now

dragon wars : YES! DRAGONS! FIGHTING EACH OTHER!! Very low budget feel to it but with big budget special effects. I enjoyed most of this movie even though the main plot was pretty cheesy... but hey I like most dairy products so no complaints here.

Slow burn: not a terrible movie but very slow. LL cool j was in it and he's a rapper... or an ex rapper i don't know but he's not a great actor and this wasn't a great piece to add to resume. It actually had a decent twist at the end but hte movie was too boring to really intrigue me.

Wedding wars: straight guy is marrying the governor of Vt's (or some yankee state) daughter... brother of the groom to be is a wedding planner and also liberace. State has a ban on liberace marriage... liberace brother protests by stopping with his wedding planning help blah blah blah Funny movie at times but still liberace and not great.

Naked Gun 2 and a 1/2: great movie. see it and the other 2! Best sarcasm dry humor you can find!

clash of the titans: old school claymation special effects are underrated... esp when everything now is just a big glorified cartoon. Great plot... great special effects (considering the time) and a very underrated movie (in my book). Go spurce up on your greek mythology and watch this one.

orgasmo!: probably the worst movie i ever tried to watch. 10 mins and that's as far as i got. 2 man asses are enough to turn me off early. Sorry "creators of south park" you hit your peak with Team America
