A Neapolitan treat

Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry… mmm… now that half of you have gotten up to go get ice cream I’ll explain to the 5 people still reading what I’m taking about.

I’ll start with Vanilla. That’s the package Clemson will run vs. Florida Atlantic this Saturday. Most people who normally enjoy a more exciting brand of flavor/football will be in for a pleasant surprise! This isn’t that low-fat, low-calorie, low-carb, low-scoring vanilla that you can get at your local health food store… no, this is a new hand churned home-made brand of fill your fat tub of fatty pants ego with delightful flavor and punishing delight!

Now, you are probably asking yourself, “what the heck is he talking about?”. Well, it’s simple… Clemson won’t do any gadget plays or anything funky but it won’t matter. The multiple layers of chocolate will be more than enough to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth come Saturday. One layer of quarter back… added in with 4 layers of running backs, with 5 layers of wide receivers on top, mixed with a stellar helping of Big D and you’ll be vanilla and chocolated out by the time the final whistle blows!

So where does the strawberry come in? Well, that’s simple. USC and Miss St. (notice both team’s colors. *Wink, Wink*-- Yes, I know… it’s a stupid way to tie in the strawberry but shut it!)

USC and their fan base will have high hopes and expectations as they roll into Bulldog country to face a team that gave up 106 more points than they scored last season. They’ll be enjoying the sites and sounds before game but by half time the strawberries will be sour and Miss St will have them in a familiar and uncomfortable position. By the time the fourth quarter rolls around the game will still be undecided but USC will pull it out in the end…

So what do I think? Well, write it down, take a picture, call your mamma, eat at Joe’s…

What you’ve got to look forward to!

What you’ve got to look forward to!

So, last season I put my opinions to work and made write ups and predictions for all the Clemson games and thought I’d try my hand at it again…

Hmmm… where to begin? Well let’s see, I don’t want to take on the same lengthy and some what boring approach of doing the individual breakdowns and advantages/disadvantages again, b/c that was just too long winded—instead, I think I’ll try a simpler approach like I did at the end of the 2004 season…

The “Shoeless Fearless Predictions”!!

First on the list every week will be the Clemson game, followed by a short USC breakdown and then a Shoeless Pick’em list of the rest of college football and maybe even some NFL games too.

I’ll try to keep everything short, sweet and lively since we all live in an A.D.D. world now! ______________ <--- (insert lame, distracted by something, joke here).

Also on the agenda will be highlight videos from almost every Clemson game we win (whatever they show on TV in my area) and a few more random videos thrown into the mix also.

So let’s start it off with a bang!!

With the first SHOELESS FEARLESS PREDICTION of 2006!!

Drum-roll please……

90% of all readers quit reading in the middle of the first paragraph… *sigh*
