Stardust: I must be out of the marketing loop for a lot of movies or something but this was movie that I would have sworn they would have advertised the heck out of about 5 years ago... but they didn't and I don't think i had heard of it before I saw it, but what do you know? it was pretty good. It was like a fairytale story like a Cinderella or something but it was actually good! Good movie for kids 7-18 and even some older kids as well hehe

Swordfish: Surprisingly enough, I had never seen this movie before this year. It wasn't a great movie but then again it is like 10 years old too... but hey did you know Halle Berry showed her boobs in this one! yawn... nothing special, she should have probably shown then 10 years before this movie when they weren't all saggy imo... but i'll always take a peek anyway lol. But all in all, it's hard to respect a movie that is still using floppy disks in it anymore i guess.

(Special theater review) I am Legend: Very seldomly do i think movies should be longer than they were, but this is one of those movies. They actually should have added another good 30 mins to an hour to make this movie even more intense and ... well, better. Anyway, Will Smith is a great actor and proved it once again, and is reason enough to see this movie but it's kind of like a glorified drama zombie movie. So go see it b/c you love the Fresh Prince of Zombie Nation.

The Good German: The nazis were bad right? and we all know this but, supposedly they were worse than we thought and this one guy knew it all! and so there's a crazy struggle to kill him in post war germany so that the "secret" stays as is.... anyway, not a bad flick, there were some good moments and some boring'er ones but all in all it was a good movie. I'm not into the WWII anything either.

The Italian: Actually it should have been called the Russian, but anyway it was about an orphaned Russian in an orphanage that would just Federline to be in and he has a chance to be adopted by a nice italian family but he refuses b/c he wants to find his real mom... anyway it was very sad and depressing movie but good. If you want to be sad for a long time then feel kinda happy watch this movie

Venus: Ummmm... words to describe this movie?? well, how about Anna Nicole Smith's life meets Shakespeare. Yes, it was weird and creepy and all other strange type things but I enjoyed this movie. Try and imagine a movie that's a love story but the guy is like 50 years older (or more) than the girl... and he's infatuated with her and she's a Rosie to him but he still loves her... yeah, that's the movie.

The Bourne Ultimatum:
decent flick, i guess i never really expected them to make a 2nd one and then when they did i REALLY didn't think they'd make a 3rd one since the 2nd one wasn't all that great, but I was wrong and as ususal... the 3rd is better than the 2nd but not as good as the 1st. anyway, good movie but not as good as the first, I hope this one is the last and there won't be any more bourne anythings!

The Station Agent:
this was an award winner from the sundance film festival and an independent movie and it was great. It was about a little guy who's best friend (who is also his boss of a model train shop) dies and he pretty much has no other friends. So the boss who died leaves the little person his only property which is like an old train station in Jersey. So he goes there and ends up befriending some guy who has an ice-cream truck type business and a lady who is going though a divorce. Anyway, it was a good movie with lots of interesting characters and funny moments. Good movie, go watch it so that more movies from independent people can get out to the mainstream and help make movies better in teh future! (and maybe one day I'll be the one some stupid douche is writing about in a blog online)

Ok, you read the above movie review right? what did I say, "chick flick" right? well, what do you think i'm gonna say about this one? Well, chick flick is right but this one was WAYYYYY BETTER than ANY chick flick I've ever seen before! I mean this one was actually good! and it was sad and happy and all that moosy stuff all in one! this one was one of those movies that I could watch more than once and I NEVER say that about chick flicks. I thought it was a very good movie yet they still could have made it better if they wanted to but they still did a great job! Anyway, if you want to ever watch a chick flick that is good, watch this one b/c the rest aren't that great.

Guide to recognizing your saints:
very good movie. Strange true story about weird people in Brooklyn and the NYC but this was a good movie with good acting. That kid who is a rising start that was in transformers was in it and the start and then robert downey jr was in it as the adult version of the same character. Weird story about a kid growing up with some weird friends and the problems he and his friends and his family went through in the late 70s early 80s (i think).
I liked this movie a lot. I could watch it again right now!

better than I expected. Not bad but pretty funny. Not the best movie ever but it was better than some of the other "funny" movies out there. This one was made by the same guys who did 40 year old virgin and knocked up but this one was better and not any amount of chick flick. This was the story of 2 loser hs kids who are coming ot the conclusion that things are about to change.... good story about some quasi liberace acting kids who aren't...

I'm not exactly sure how many of these dang pirates movies they are going ot make but so far they've done a great job with them. The plots aren't boring, the acting is good, teh special effects are great and the action and humor stay at a top notch level. Anyway, this one was as good or better than the others ones i've seen (what are there 2 or 3 more now?... i forget)....
anyway, as long as Johnny Depp is acting he'll make a good movie.

I'm not a big fan of dance movies it seems but they aren't half bad. They are all cheesy and cliche' but who's to say that a terrible thing? Decent flick, enjoyable to watch even thoguh I knew what was going to happen. I still don't think that step-dancing is going to blow up anytime soon but then again what do i know?

What can you expect from the 4th movie in a series that was supposed to be just one? well, it was better than 2 at least. It probably won't be going into the hall of fame anytime soon but it was interesting to watch. The Mac guy was funny and Kevin Smith (writer from all the jay and silent bob, dogma, clerks success) had a role as well... and he's great. Bruce willis is getting old but hasn't really lost anything in his old age.

I liked this movie. It was really cool. It was kind of an after life type movie but not really. It was really a cool concept and I was surprised I hadn't seen this movie before I did. Rachel Wise and Hugh Jackman were the stars and both did a good job. Hugh wasn't as believable in his role but he still pulled it off, for hte most part. Good Flick

Well, considering i had to go re-lookup this movie online will tell you how much this movie made an impression with me. I still am not really sure what the hell this movie was about other than it's not nearly as suspencful as the previews and box will have you believe but it wasn't a terrible terrible movie either. It just wasn't very memorable.

Planet Terror:
ok, so the first one of these double features from Grindhouse, Rodrigez and Terantino was terrible but this one wasn't nearly as bad. It wasn't that great either but it was much easier to follow and i dind't want to pull my hair out while watching it either. The plot was really out there but still much better than the deathproof bs. It actually was a pretty interesting movie and the old style of it made it better instead of terrible. If you ahve to choose between either of these movies i would def suggest this one over the other but still isn't that great.

Notes on a scandal:
very strange movie. It was british so that explains some of it but it was one of those "teacher sleeps with a student stories" but with a really weird old lady who seems to fall in love with the teacher (also female). anyway it wasn't a bad movie at all and was quite interesting but i'm not sure if i'd want to watch it again. I think the movie was probably better than i am giving it credit for but the dvd also was scratched so we watched about 3/4 of it and then it stopped playing and 3 days later or so we finished it off so that might have been a factor in my rating of this movie as well. Blockbuster's online is fucking lame sometimes b/c of these scratched dvds but for hte most part it still less hassle and cheaper than renting movies individually.
