Refund Policy

Do to the nature of digital photography and videography, Shoeless Works has a strict NO REFUND POLICY. If you are unsatisfied with the work/finished product, if Shoeless Works deems the product unacceptable, only then will a discount or refund be provided. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of any photoshoot, client forfeits any deposit or retainer. If client was paid in full prior to cancellation, a graduated schedule refund will be returned to the client starting at 80% of the full amount if more than 30 days to scheduled event date, 70% of the full amount if 2 weeks to 30 days, 60% between 1 and 2 weeks, & 50% if less than 1 weeks.

Rights of ownership & reproduction of video: Shoeless Works LLC allows any of their fully paid clients to use & make copies of any photo(s) created & given to them from their event for private & personal use only. RAW footage/images purchased, clients are allowed to use for private use ONLY. No outside editing company or person, family or friend included, may be contracted or used to edit any of Shoeless Works LLC copy-written material without the written consent of Shoeless Works LLC. Raw footage is for the client’s home use only. Additional copies can be purchased through Shoeless Works for the price listed in the payment agreement. Copies or originals cannot be sold to anyone for any cost. The customer may make copies but not for monetary gain or even sold without monetary gain. No clips or footages can be shared online without written consent of Shoeless Works LLC etc. Any footage that the customer wishes to share online can be done so through Shoeless Works’ website, or can be tagged from your personal accounts to give credit. Your custom made photos are produced privately for the sole enjoyment of the customer and their loved ones and not for commercial viewing. Client accepts responsibility for personal use of any music rights used in creation of images/videos. The same restrictions apply to anyone the videos are shared with. We encourage you to show your images to your family/friends but since it is produced for the customer alone, we ask that it remain between family & friends & the like.

Digital storage of content: At Shoeless Works LLC we always properly back up and store all of our clients’ photos and videos for years; however, accidents do sometimes happen and technology changes. Please immediately make a backup of your footage if you can! Permanent storage of all photos/video could be hard to achieve after an extended period of time and sometimes footage can be corrupted immediately. We try our best to keep copies of finished products on hard-drives for our clients but we absolutely cannot stress enough for you to back up your own files just in case of accident. We cannot be held responsible for any losses that occur after delivery. So far, we have never experienced such a loss but we can only guarantee backups for 90 days from the event date. Even as soon as one month after your wedding we cannot guarantee full editing access to your original files and may only be able to produce finished copies. We ask that you promptly report any errors or changes you wish to make to your finished product 30 days after receiving package (we can verify with a tracking number at shipping). After 90 days we cannot guarantee further reproduction of your images/videos or that we will still have any RAW files. Please be sure that your images are playable and any changes you would like made are presented immediately after receiving your finished product. If raw footages are not included in your package we strongly encourage clients to purchase them immediately in order to ensure they remain in existence for future changes so that edits can be made.

 Edits & Post Production: Sometimes after events have been completed there are errors in the editing, misspelled words or problems with USB or hard-drive playability. There is no extra charge for the correction of these mistakes made by Shoeless Works LLC but if a client wishes changes to be made after production, charges can be added to the editing. In this regards, the client has critically viewed samples of Shoeless Works’ work and hereby grants full editorial and production control to Shoeless Works regarding all aspects of the production and post-production services for the event. In the event a particular image or segment of the event is either not recorded, partially recorded, or not a part of the edited master tape, it is at the sole discretion of Shoeless Works LLC as the exclusive producer of the event recording to make fitting editorial changes as a result. Inclement weather falls under this category. If we deem weather too risky to shoot, yet the event still proceeds as planned, Shoeless Works has the right to keep equipment safe even at the risk of missed footage. Client cannot ask for a refund or discount in this situation if no acceptable alternative solution was provided. Changes requested to the final product after delivery to client are charged at a rate up to $150 dollars per hour. A written estimate will be provided before any extra editing is to be completed. 

Artistic License: Shoeless Works LLC strives for a standard of excellence in camera work and footage but we cannot guarantee the perfection of every shot or segment. Footage may be shaky at times, batteries fail, location changes can cause a gap in coverage, low lighting, grainy images, and even guest patronage can accidentally block footage. Shoeless Works maintains the right for the editor to use their professional judgment to deem the “best shot” for the finished product. Shoeless Works strives to capture ALL moments of your event but cannot be held responsible for the appearance or the overall feel of the event. Shoeless Works is there to capture moments as they happen and create a memory from the day. As a client, you have seen a selection of Shoeless Works samples, whether in person or online, and accept it as an example of the quality of work for your project. If Shoeless Works deems the product unacceptable, only then will a discount or refund be provided.
